Britain & Ireland Tour

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1  London to Liverpool, England

From the buzz of London to Liverpool, aka the home of The Beatles. On the way, we’ll check out Oxford, which is world famous for its awesome university. In the evening, we’ll get to know each other over a welcome dinner in Liverpool.

  • Day : 2  Liverpool to York

From Liverpool to the medieval walled city of York. With a real historic feel, this quaint town has a stunning Gothic cathedral, narrow streets and wooden-beamed houses. Head off exploring today.

  • Day : 3  York to Edinburgh, Scotland

Spread your wings and take a selfie under the Angel of the North before we hit up Hadrian's Wall. Then get your daily dose of Gothic architecture at Alnwick Castle before we reach Edinburgh tonight for a local pub feast (think: haggis, real ale and endless malts). End your day by getting (or losing) your bearings on an optional pub crawl. When in Rome! Or Edinburgh, for that matter.

  • Day : 4  Edinburgh

Wake up early to tick off the greats on a morning walking tour of the Scottish capital. Cue medieval vibes at Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street and the Royal Mile. Then kick your heels up, Scottish style, for an optional highland fling with a traditional show.

  • Day : 5  Edinburgh

Spend the day chasing the Loch Ness monster on an optional trip to the notorious lake. Or stick around to explore. Hit up Port of Leith for a funky, contemporary Edinburgh. You could also stretch your legs and hike up to Arthur's Seat for incredible views as far as the eye can see.

  • Day : 6  Edinburgh to Glasgow

Get oriented in Scotland's Brooklyn on a walking tour before exploring Glasgow with your new trip mates. Merchant City's got that sophisticated cool, while Ashton Lane is ruggedly cool in that student budget kind of way. Fill up on something hearty before the afternoon's distillery tour (optional). Wouldn't want an empty stomach keeping you from tasting the Scottish water of life (read: whisky). Tonight, hunt down the best battered Mars bar for a taste of a true local delicacy.

  • Day : 7  Glasgow to Belfast, Northern Ireland

Ferry over to the land of four leafed clovers and mythical pots of gold. Be sure to check out the street art, murals and cool venues the locals don't want you to know about. Then hit up the Titanic Museum or hop on an optional Black Cab tour for local tales and insider tips. Tonight: gobble down some local grub with the group before knocking back some pints. You'll fit right in.

  • Day : 8  Belfast to Galway, Republic of Ireland

Play a giant’s game of hopscotch as we visit the famous Giant’s Causeway before moving onto Derry. Next up: Galway for vibrant culture and bohemian vibes.

  • Day : 9  Galway

Sail out on an optional trip to the Aran Islands or stick around town to roam free. Check out Wolfe Tones Bridge and the Spanish Arch. Make sure you visit the main street, too, where local shops and cool cafés come alive.

  • Day : 10  Galway to Dublin

Next: the cobblestone streets and classic pubs of Dublin. Ready for a night of living like a local? Let’s do this!

  • Day : 11  Dublin

Get your bearings for this afternoon's free time on a walking tour of Dublin. Then take in the view of the city from the Guinness Skybar after touring the famous distillery. Just don't say you can't taste the difference. Keep the buzz going – the rest of the day is yours for the taking.

  • Day : 12  Dublin to North Wales, Wales

We ferry over to Wales this morning. Make a pit stop for a selfie at the place with the longest name in Europe. Work on your pronunciation for a bit then explore the myth-steeped countryside. The afternoon is all yours. Why not try and hunt down a Welsh rarebit for dinner?

  • Day : 13  North Wales to Cardiff

Off to find out why English students flock to study in Cardiff. Psst… it's got something to do with all the bands and musicians that pass through here. Tonight: get emotional at a local restaurant at our farewell dinner. #sadface

  • Day : 14  Cardiff to London, England

En route to London we stop by Bath and Stonehenge. Pretty epic for a last day right? Quick, get everyone on Facebook before the trip ends.
