Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1  Paris

    Upon entering the arrivals hall at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORY), a driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will be ready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information.

  • Day : 2  Paris

    We include a scenic guided tour of Paris. Discover the history, main boulevards, and the breathtaking monuments of the City of Lights. Later, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre district, known for its painters, artists, and cabarets. Time for lunch (own expense). Return to the hotel or stay to enjoy more free time to discover Paris.

  • Day : 3  Paris - Versailles - Paris

    On Day 3 we include a transfer to Versailles, with its immense palace and beautiful gardens, admission not included. The afternoon in Paris is yours to uncover the city's myriad hidden gems.

  • Day : 4  Paris - Giverny - Rouen - Arromanches - Caen

    Departing from Paris early in the morning, we drive to Giverny for a visit to Monet House and Garden, admission for which is included in your package. Afterward we drive to Rouen, the capital of Normandy with its medieval streets and cathedral. Time for a stroll and lunch (own expense). We then make our way to Arromanches, whose beaches on which we remember D-Day. Overnight in Caen.

  • Day : 5  Caen - Mont Saint-Michel - St. Malo - Dinan - Rennes

    On Day 5 we travel to Mont Saint-Michel, with ample time to see the town perched on a rock surrounded by the sea. In Brittany we will visit Saint Malo, whose powerful walls once defended the city against attack. Free time for lunch (own expense). In the afternoon we'll take a stroll in Dinan, a Breton village full of charm. Next stop: Rennes, the capital of Brittany.

  • Day : 6  Rennes - Angers - Tours - Villandry - Amboise / Tours

    In the morning we depart for Angers. Those who wish can visit the castle that houses the largest medieval tapestry on the Apocalypse. After this we drive to the Loire Valley, stopping first in Tours, the regional capital on the banks of the Loire River. Time for a stroll and lunch (own expense). In the afternoon we will visit the Gardens of Villandry, included in the display price. Continue to Amboise for an included dinner and overnight accommodations.

  • Day : 7  Amboise - Chenonceau - Chambord - Argenton - Limoges

    We'll take a stroll around Amboise, stopping by the statue of Leonardo da Vinci, on an island of the Loire. On the last day we include admission to the Chateau de Chenonceau, in the shape of a bridge over the river. We will also visit Chambord, the largest of the castles of the Loire. We will then travel to the center of France, stopping for a short break in Argenton sur Creuse, a small medieval town on the banks of the river Creuse. Overnight in Limoges.

  • Day : 8  Limoges - Collonge la Rouge - Padirac - Rocamadour

    In Limoges we include a brief guided tour of the city, its cathedral, the old station, and the Porcelain Museum (entrance included), housing one of the most beautiful porcelain collections in the world. We continue to Collonge la Rouge, a picturesque village along the Way of St. James. Free time for lunch (own expense). After lunch we'll visit the impressive Padirac caves and take a boat trip 75 meters underground, included in the display price. Our last stop on Day 8: Rocamadour, a beautiful mediaval village with an important sanctuary suspended above the village on a high cliff. We recommend a stroll down the via crucis followed by an ascent by lift. Dinner is included.

  • Day : 9  Rocamadour - Roque Gageac - Beynac Castle - Sarlat - St. Emilion - Bordeaux

    We are now in the region of the Dordogne, one of the great historic rivers of central France. Few regions contain so many charming villages, and so much unforgettable scenery. We'll take a stroll around La Roque Gageac, a small village full of flowers on the banks of the Dordogne. In Beynac we'll visit a medieval castle perched above the river (admission included). Then we'll make a stop in Sarlat-la-Caneda for a stroll through the incredibly well-preserved Renaissance historic center. Free time for lunch (own expense). Afterward we travel to St. Emilion, in the heart of Bordeaux wine country. Time for a stroll. We include a visit to an ancient wine establishment, tasting included. Overnight in Bordeaux.

  • Day : 10  Bordeaux - Lourdes

    In the morning, we include a 2-hour tour of Bordeaux with a local guide. Be awed by the 11th century cathedral, Grand Theatre de Bordeaux, Monument to the Girondins, and the Place Royale. Free time for lunch (own expense). Afterward we'll drive to Lourdes, arriving in the mid-afternoon, with time to see the sanctuary there. Dinner is included on this day.

  • Day : 11  Lourdes - Saint Bertrand - Carcassonne - Andorra

    Driving parallel to the Pyrenees, we'll make a stop in Saint Bertrand, perched high on the mountainside. You'll have time for a stroll here before we drive to Carcassonne, the most most beautiful walled city in all of Europe. Then we ascend into the snow-capped Pyrenees for an overnight in Andorra.

  • Day : 12  Andorra - Montserrat - Barcelona

    Free time in Andorra la Vella for shopping or a leisurely stroll. After lunch (own expense) we drive to Catalonia for a ride on the rack railway up to Montserrat. After a visit to the sanctuary at Montserrat, we'll make our way to Barcelona, arriving in the late afternoon.

  • Day : 13  Barcelona

    Today we'll get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Mediterranean. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert and visit the city's historic central area with its Gothic neighborhood dating back to the Middle Ages. Then we will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place, as well as La Sagrada Familia, the magnificent basilica designed by architect Gaudi (admission not included). Afterwards, we'll head to Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), an open-air architectural museum in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Then you'll have free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we'll head to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants for dinner.

  • Day : 14  Barcelona

    The tour service concludes directly following breakfast at the hotel. Airport drop-off is not included in the display price. Please contact our customer service team if you would like to arrange airport drop-pff for an additional fee.
